It was an informative and fun three-hour session to help students prepare for the upcoming blues recital. Some of the topics covered were the rhythm styles often associated with the blues. Typical intros and endings were also demonstrated. But the most fun was with the improvising aspect. Every student got a chance to get up and work on their soloing and filling in around the vocals. |
